No, all Importing and Exporting services must be arranged with an authorized Shipping Agent.

Container, Bulk (Fuel, Wheat, Fertilizer) Military. PBL does not service cruise ships.

Yes, both.
5. I want to import chilled groceries is this possible?
Yes, PBL offer both chilled cargo and cold storage facilities.
6. What are the requirements to enter the Port of Belize's compound?
Safety is our priority. Proper identification and personal protective equipment (PPEs) are mandatory. See our safety page for detailed information.

8. What is a Low Berthage Facility?
This is a specialized storage area in the Port Compound where cargo going to and coming from the cayes (for example Caye Caulker) is loaded and unloaded.
9. I will be moving back home to Belize with all my household items. Should I have security concerns?.
The Port offers warehousing and 24 hour security service.
10. Is the Port opened 24 hours per day?
Administrative hours: Mon-Thurs: 8am – 5pm, Fridays: 8am – 4:30pm
Terminal Operations: On-demand (Weekdays, Weekends, Public Holidays (Day or Night).
11. Is the Port ISPS certified?
Yes, the port must be certified to operate.
