The September festivities officially came to an end at the close of September 21, 2009 with the Official Ceremony in Belmopan and other districts as well as Belize City. The Belize City parade was cancelled due to rain conditions in the morning but the bram at the Memorial Park continued until the rain came and ended it all.

Carnival on the other hand which was held on Saturday September 19 started off with some rain but continued successfully the rest of the afternoon. Congratulations to those who won and we look forward to another series of festivities in 2010.
